Kris has worked at TDS for 3 years and currently serves as a Senior Account Manager for their commercial unit. With nearly 3 decades of experience in customer service she has always tried to help people in some way or another. She and her husband, Ben, enjoy traveling and camping, dancing at Valley Social Dance Studio, attending concerts and sporting events, and spending time with friends. Kris has attended Shall We Dance for the past few years and is honored to be participating as a Community Dancer this year. This is yet another way she is able to help people.
Chuck Spencer, Valley Social
Chuck Spencer, co-owner of Valley Social, says his favorite dance is “the one that’s playing.” His energy and enthusiasm is what led him to become a teacher in 2003. Chuck graduated from Valley Social Ballroom Dance Teacher’s College and continues to train and polish his skills. Chuck’s talent as a dancer and teacher gives him a unique way to help the community. He has taken the stage as a professional dancer every year at Shall We Dance – since the very first year. Chuck also teaches charity lessons and performs for local businesses and non-profit organizations. He works closely with the Shooting Star Ballroom Dance Program – a program for area 5th and 6th graders, teaching social skills through ballroom dance. Chuck calls the Sexual Assault Crisis Center an “important and necessary” part of our community; he says: “I feel honored to be part of this event. I feel good knowing that all the hard work goes toward improving the Valley.”
