Employment Resource Group

Jeff is Vice President of Business Development in the Construction Division at ERG. Since moving to the Fox Cities 20 years ago from the La Crosse area, he has been continuously impressed at how passionate the people of this area are at giving of their time and treasure to others in need of a helping hand. Jeff is excited and honored to be a part of Shall We Dance and is proud to be able to raise awareness and funds for the continued great work that the Center does for our community. Previously, Jeff also served as co-chair of the logistics committee for NAMI-Fox Valley and their NAMIWalks event. Between his, hers, and theirs…Jeff and his wife Karen have been blessed with 6 kids, and soon-to-be ten, beautiful grandkids. He sends a heart-felt thank you to family, friends, ERG, his sponsors, and Melinda & Nicholas at Fred Astaire for all their support for this amazing cause.

Melinda Plante, Fred Astaire Dance Studios

Nicholas and his wife, Melinda, are the proud owners of the Fred Astaire Dance Studios of Appleton. Nicholas has been in the ballroom dance industry since 1997. He and Melinda competed in the American Smooth, American Rhythm and the Open Cabaret Divisions until Nicholas retired from professional dancing in 2006. Besides running studios, Nicholas has spent his time producing ballroom dance shows and competitions across the country. He is currently the National Show Producer for Fred Astaire Dance Studios, and his production company currently presents the most prestigious competition in the nation…The United States Dancesport Championships, held in Orlando, Florida. Both Nicholas and Melinda are grateful to be a part of Shall We Dance. Dancing has given them so much; they are eager to let their dancing help to give something back. They would like to extend their overwhelming respect and support to all of the amateur dancers participating in this year’s event. Without you, there would be no show. You are truly the stars of this event!
