Jessie Spencer, Valley Social

Jessie Spencer, co-owner of Valley Social Dance Studio, has been teaching ballroom dancing since 1998. She got her start in the dance business with a franchised studio in Minnesota. Her competitive figure skating background helped make learning easy; and her love of dancing grew. In addition to managing and teaching at Valley Social, she also teaches ballroom dancing for the Renaissance School For The Arts – a charter high school in Appleton; and is involved with the Shooting Star Ballroom Dance Program – a program for area 5th and 6th graders, teaching social skills though ballroom dance. Giving back to the community has been a goal of hers since the beginning of her career. She has been involved with Shall We Dance since the start. “Thank you to all of the amateur dancers for all of your hard work to benefit this important cause.”
