Manderfield’s Home Bakery
Doug is honored and excited to be a part of this amazing event. A third generation “baker” at Manderfield’s, he is in charge of sales staff, public relations and marketing.
A staple in our community since 1934, the Manderfield family has always given back to our community with donations, employment and good will. Doug is a graduate of University of Wisconsin Madison with a degree in Music Education. He has a passion for singing, dancing and playing piano. He is grateful for his new family at Fred Astaire Dance Studio and is inspired by the commitment of the people at The Sexual Assault Crisis Center. Doug dedicates this performance to his parents, who have provided him with a safe and loving home. He hopes his involvement in Shall We Dance helps those that are not as fortunate in some way.
Megan Blake, Fred Astaire Dance Studios
Megan started as an amateur dancer in 2011. After finishing school, Megan joined the Fred Astaire Dance Studios in 2016 and currently holds two highly commended certifications from the National Dance Board. She and her professional partner compete in the Rising Star Division of the American Smooth category. Even though Megan is skilled in the American Smooth and Rhythm Divisions, she is relatively new to the show dance style used in Shall We Dance. Her community dance partner, Doug, threw her a curve ball by choosing a style that was a little “out of the box” for her. But Megan is nothing if not determined, and she is honored and excited to be a part of this year’s event. She and Doug are having a blast on their rehearsals and can’t wait to show off all of their hard work!
